Tara Jarmon Lilac Coat at Stylebop.com

I used to have a coat like this when I was little – pleats at the empire waist, cute buttons on top, etc… for some reason, I absolutely hated it! I think I was going through an “I want to be a tomboy” stage. (FYI, my efforts proved that I was as far away from “tomboy” as possible). Anyway, now I see why my mother always wanted to dress me up in that coat. It was a total classic! I mean, it’s still in style all these years later for goodness sake. Too bad my 8-year old self had no style.
This Tara Jarmon coat has all the pretty things I mentioned earlier. Empire waist, pleats, buttons… oh, and a pretty purple color! (I also refused to wear anything purple while I was growing up… man, I was an annoying little girl to shop with!) This is a great purple, too, because it’s got a hint of that royal blue in it. See below for all details!
