Have you guys been watching NBC’s new show Fashion Star? There have only been two episodes so far, so catch up before the third one airs next Tuesday! Nzimiro Oputa has emerged as one of the best designers on the show (in my opinion anyway!). He specializes in men’s clothing and is a master at creating simple yet unique and detailed designs. We’re rooting for him over here at DFTR!

So here’s a quick overview of how the show works: a handful of up and coming designers compete on the show (previously filmed, airing on Tuesdays at 10/9 central) and try to sell their items to H&M, Macy’s or Saks Fifth Avenue. If their piece is bought by one of the stores, it’s available for anyone to buy immediately after the show online, or the next day in stores! It’s pretty cool – seeing the designs on TV one minute, and then being able to buy them the next.

Anyway! This dress shirt is nice and spring-y and that’s why I like it. It has a slim, modern fit and is easy to wear with lots of things.
