Marc Jacobs is either a genius or kind of crazy. Maybe he’s a crazy genius.
This Marc Jacobs necklace is made of grey crystals strung onto regular old safety pins. The safety pins are strung onto two rows of gold beads that kind of look like they were left over from the last Mardi Gras celebration. The thing about this necklace that makes it cool is that while it’s made of materials that don’t look like they’re out of the ordinary (with the exception of the crystals), the end result is totally unique AND stylish! I’m not sure where he got the idea from, that Mr. Jacobs, but it was a good one!
Now that I think of it, I did something like this for an art project when I was in fifth grade. These long gloves by Salvatore Ferragamo are incredibly luxurious and soft! I mean, long leather gloves just scream luxury to me. When you tell me they’re made by the one and only Salvatore Ferragamo, I’m totally won over.
