Uhhh, I have no words to describe this necklace. Dramatically amazing? Amazingly dramatic? Something like that. This bib necklace makes a statement, that’s for sure. I’d wear it with a simple black dress so it can make the huge statement it’s supposed to make. Then again, you can just as easily wear it with a white t-shirt and denim!

Marc Jacobs is either a genius or kind of crazy. Maybe he’s a crazy genius.
This Marc Jacobs necklace is made of grey crystals strung onto regular old safety pins. The safety pins are strung onto two rows of gold beads that kind of look like they were left over from the last Mardi Gras celebration. The thing about this necklace that makes it cool is that while it’s made of materials that don’t look like they’re out of the ordinary (with the exception of the crystals), the end result is totally unique AND stylish! I’m not sure where he got the idea from, that Mr. Jacobs, but it was a good one!
Now that I think of it, I did something like this for an art project when I was in fifth grade. The only (major) difference is that mine would have sold for two dollars while this one is going for slightly more than that. Originally $1094, this is on sale for $547. What can I say, Marc Jacobs safety pins ain’t cheap. Free shipping w/Luisaviaroma.com!
