Stella’s always got something unique to add to a classic. (And yes, I do like to refer to designers by their first names on occasion and act like I know them). This time she does it with a trench coat. The twist? Techno fabric! At least that’s the description used on Yoox.com. I really have no idea what techno fabric is though. It looks kind of shiny and I imagine it makes some kind of crinkly noise when you put it on. How’s that for a guess?? All I know for sure is that it looks awesome. It’s got lots of great details too, including an inverted pleat with buckle detail and some great button details at the stand-up collar.

Ok, now I’m overdoing it with the trench coats, I know. But I’ve always been on a mission to find the best trench coats out there and this one really hits the jackpot, so I couldn’t resist posting.

First of all, the color is quite possibly the most perfect camel colored trench coat I’ve ever seen. I’m all for the khaki or stone colored trenches, but this beats them all for me.
