I can’t seem to walk in heels. I’m not sure why. Call it a curse or extreme incoordination (it’s probably the latter). There have been many times where I think I’ve grown out of my inability to walk in anything higher than 2 inches, but I’ve finally accepted the fact that Christian Louboutins and Jimmy Choos will always elude me. I know… it’s a sad, sad fate.
Luckily there are enough great flats out there to keep my shoe love satisfied! These satin Pedro Garcia flats are my current faves. Two things I love: 1) flats and 2) wrap around sandals. So naturally, I have fallen pretty hard for these Costume National sandals! The lace up details along the foot remind me a little of gladiator sandals, but the ankle wrap gives these a whole new look. I’m liking the navy blue color a lot, too. It’s a refreshing change from the usual black or brown!

Seriously, how cute are these?? They’re kinda just your basic flat patent leather sandal, but Alexander McQueen has added the tiniest detail that makes ALL the difference! I mean, it’s basically a piece of tulle all folded up into a ruffle, then placed on top of the t-strap. Why didn’t I think of that?!
