I’m not huge on trends because I hate dropping a lot of money on an item, only to have it go out of style the next year. This jersey dress by up and coming designer Orly Shani was a big hit on last night’s Fashion Star! It was bought by Saks and is now available for you to purchase!
On the show, the dress was made in three colors. I guess Saks picked just one to sell at their stores – this orange and pink one. I love the color combination but I do wish the other colors were being sold as well. I also wish that this dress was exactly like the original one from the show because I thought the details really made it an even more fabulous dress. The original design had slanted pockets at the hips with a hint of pink material peeking out and you could also see some pink lining at the slit in the back. I guess I am just a sucker for pockets and contrasting lining! But this dress really is fabulous even without those details.
