I can’t seem to walk in heels. I’m not sure why. Call it a curse or extreme incoordination (it’s probably the latter). There have been many times where I think I’ve grown out of my inability to walk in anything higher than 2 inches, but I’ve finally accepted the fact that Christian Louboutins and Jimmy Choos will always elude me. I know… it’s a sad, sad fate.
Luckily there are enough great flats out there to keep my shoe love satisfied! These satin Pedro Garcia flats are my current faves. Seriously, how cute are these?? They’re kinda just your basic flat patent leather sandal, but Alexander McQueen has added the tiniest detail that makes ALL the difference! I mean, it’s basically a piece of tulle all folded up into a ruffle, then placed on top of the t-strap. Why didn’t I think of that?!

When it comes to clothing, I tend to jump the gun at the first sight of warm weather. I check weather.com like it’s my job. If I see any chance of warm weather approaching, I get SO excited because it means I can FINALLY whip out my spring clothes! Problem is, once I step outside in my aforementioned spring clothes, I realize I’ve gotten carried away once again. Just because 50 degrees is a whole lot warmer than 35 degrees doesn’t mean it’s actually WARM!!! I do this every single spring. When will I ever learn??
In any case, these Sigerson Morrison sandals would be perfect for me on a 60 degree day. That is until I went outside and realized my toes were going to freeze. Anyway, these have some great tie-details around the ankle cuff along with a zipper for easy removal. Skinny leather straps at the ankle and toes top it all off.
