Be careful how you wear this Herve Leger sequined skirt. One wrong move and you could be looking like a go-go girl. BUT if done right, this can be a cute skirt! It all has to do with what you wear with it. Try a tucked in cap-sleeve top or a solid tank with a cropped jacket or cardigan. In the colder months, wear a pair of stockings or leggings with a pair of chunky heels. And unless you’re dressing up like a go-go girl for Halloween, I’d stay away from boots with short skirts like this one. Go-go = no-no.

Here’s a Herve Leger dress from Stylebop.com. I don’t know how Herve Leger manages to create so many unique dresses from a simple concept, but he does – and he’s done it again with this one! I’d have this dress on hand for those times when you just need to look really good in a flash. You know, like that time you found out your ex was bringing a new girlfriend to a mutual friend’s wedding and you needed to step the hotness up a notch. Or that time you were getting ready to go out for that New Year’s Eve party and you spilled something all over the front of your dress before leaving the house, and suddenly you had nothing to wear. Oh wait, that one was me… but you get the point. This dress will hotten you up in a snap – it’s pretty much guaranteed!

Herve Leger is allllll about the bandage-style dresses. I really do mean “alllll”, ’cause that’s all this designer makes! Everything with the “Herve Leger” name on it has that signature stuck-to-your-body-like-a-bandaid look, hence the “bandage” name! Now before you write this designer off because he “makes tight dresses”, I’d give him a chance first, because these dresses really are flattering even if you’re not a size zero! Seriously! Somehow they manage to bring out the best curves and hide the ones you don’t like. And no, I don’t know how that’s possible. I just know it’s true. So I’ll call it magic.
