Here is a Marc by Marc Jacobs top from Bluefly.com. It features this great netting on the front neckline and the back yoke. The silk crepe material is nice and lightweight so it won’t weigh you down. Oh, and they are hard to see in the picture, but there are two netted front pockets on this top – zoom in for a closer look! I’m not sure how functional they would be, but they sure LOOK cute!

Here’s a pump from Marc by Marc Jacobs that’s got some great details to catch the eye. For one thing, it’s patent leather, so the shiny aspect alone will turn heads like crazy. These feature a lace-up instep – a detail I love – but they are open just below there! The bottom half looks like a regular patent pump, while the upper half looks more like a lace-up short boot! I love it when designers turn two concepts into one. Especially when that designer is Marc Jacobs! Best of all, these are available in tons of sizes and three different colors!

Here’s a peasant blouse from Marc by Marc Jacobs at Piperlime.com. The main point of interest is the allover bohemian paisley print. Splashes of green against a navy and purple background make for an interesting pattern – a nice change from your all-too-normal solid! The bohemian-feeling pattern coupled with the loose blousey fit make this a little reminiscent of the 60′s and 70′s without looking like you’re on your way to Woodstock. Just to be safe, I’d avoid wearing super bell-bottom pants!! Try some skinny jeans to update your look instead. Funny how putting skinny jeans and a peasant blouse together is like combining the 70′s and 80′s. I guess the 2000′s are not as original as we’d like to think!
