Stella’s always got something unique to add to a classic. (And yes, I do like to refer to designers by their first names on occasion and act like I know them). This time she does it with a trench coat. The twist? Techno fabric! At least that’s the description used on Yoox.com. I really have no idea what techno fabric is though. It looks kind of shiny and I imagine it makes some kind of crinkly noise when you put it on. How’s that for a guess?? All I know for sure is that it looks awesome. It’s got lots of great details too, including an inverted pleat with buckle detail and some great button details at the stand-up collar.

In honor of the slightly warmer weather that made an appearance today, here’s something to remind us (well, me, anyway) that Spring is coming, eventually. This Stella McCartney top is obviously made to be worn in warmer weather, but you could definitely wear this under a cute cardigan or blazer in the colder season, too. I’m all about the versatility, so that’s my take on it! Onto the details… it has a self-belt that can tie in the back or front, and it has some little pleats on the sides. It’s 100% Cotton, so it is light enough to wear on a hot day, but is still an appropriate material to wear under a cardigan in the Fall. But that’s enough of my blabbering for now! This Stella McCartney is stellar, in my opinion (pun intended). It’s all the things a cute spring or summer shirt should be: it’s made of flowy material, it’s lightweight and airy, and it comes in a color that screams warm weather and makes you want to sit on a beach and sip a piña colada.

The ruching all over makes this shirt feel lighter and makes it look even prettier. There is a line of ruching at the empire waist, one above the band at the bottom, and even some on the sleeves. Did I mention the material is 100% silk? Basically, this is a great top in every way imaginable!

I heart this military style blazer by Stella McCartney. You can so easily dress it up or down, so it’s very versatile. The cream color is so elegant and clean looking.
