We’ve posted Hunter rain boots before, but I was inspired by today’s incredibly gloomy, rainy, looks-like-it’s-night-time weather to post them again. Yes, they are just that great!

When I was living in New York, these boots were a total lifesaver — make that a shoesaver! Check out this masterpiece of a shoe! I’m crazy for these Christian Louboutins (and every single shoe that goes by that name), and for good reason! There’s the perfectly high stiletto heel, pointed toe that looks like it could hurt someone, a great faux snake print leather, and of course, that beautiful signature red sole. Ahhh. I’m all about anything in fashion that has a simple foundation with a cool detail or two to top it off. These are just that. Simple black high heel boot with a twist. Literally.
